Google Keyword Research
Google keyword research is something that is fundamental to having success on the internet. It enables you to find the best keywords for the subject you are wanting to tell others about and will help them find your content. Google keyword research is something that you do on the internet using tools provided by Google for free. The fact that Google allows us access to this tool is fantastic and actually means you don't have to invest in paid keyword research if you don't want to.
When you go to do Google keyword research you search for particular keywords that are being searched for by other internet users. The results you get back will indicate the approximate number of searches being made for the keywords you enter and make an enquiry about based on global monthly and local monthly searches. Google keyword research will enable you to see results relatively quickly. Even if you need to take a little bit of time to do this research it is something you must do if you want to see results later.
It is not a good idea just to think of a keyword and start writing and article or building a website around with doing your research first. Google has risen to be such a dominate force on the internet that you really do need to pay attention to what research done using their keyword tool tells you. Once you have found the best keyword for your niche or idea it is very easy then to rank well on Google and that in turn will guarantee you get visitors to your website.
How to Conduct Google Keyword Research - 3 Easy Steps
1. Go to the Google page that allows you to conduct keyword research. This is located at: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
2. Once on this page you will be able to conduct keyword research. However I recommend signing in using a Gmail account. This allows you to get many hundreds more results when you do you keyword research. This also eliminates the need to enter the catpcha phrase to use the tool. Below the "Find Keywords" title you will see a box. One the right it will say "Word or phrase" and you enter your word or phrase in the field to the right of that. Then click search.
3. Once the results appear you are able to export and save them as a CSV file that you can open on your computer later to go over and select the best words or phrases to help you create relevant content. You may not want to save all the keywords that a found for you so just select the ones you want by clicking the boxes beside them. I generally find though that it is easier to just save the whole lot and sort them later once you have opened the file inside of a program like Excel. Much easier.
Final Thoughts on Google Keyword Research
Some people are of the opinion that Google keyword research must be of little value because of the fact that it is free. But that is not true at all. The research it returns is both relevant and accurate. The very source of this information is being provided by the most widely used search engine in the world. And it should also be noted that most paid keyword research tools are exactly getting their date from Google. They are just adding some value to the process by providing some automated tools which in reality are not necessary for good, accurate results you can trust. This research is something you can do, you need to do, you must do... whether it is using the free tool provided by Google or using some paid tool. Visit us to find out what paid tool many professionals use to save time and get great results.
Whatever way you choose to go with your research you will get results, just make sure you do it.
