I just checked my site to find that I had graduated from a page rank of 0 to a page rank of 1 on my main page/top level. I figured this called for a complete tutorial on how to identify what is your page rank and more importantly what you can do to improve it. Page rank is one of those enigmatic stats which a lot of webmasters don't understand how it works, how it's calculated, what it means, or how much emphasis should be placed on it.
