A unified a SEO strategy is important for any business that wants to get traffic on their website. The problem with most people's SEO strategy is that it does not have a coherent rhyme or reason. In fact, it is not a stretch to say that most people do not even have a SEO campaign mapped out in their mind. Many of these people haphazardly write articles, generate videos, make press releases, and, etc. However, this is the problem with their SEO strategy, as it does not have enough focus to get the kinds of results that they really want from their website.
It is important to note that the truth about SEO is that it is like fishing with a net. You cast your net out into the ocean and find out what fish are out there before you make the determination about what bait should be used the catch more of those fish. Therefore, a person cannot make a unified SEO strategy until after this action has been undertaken. Therefore, it is important that a person do the right research before developing their SEO strategy.
Once a person has a good idea of what types of people are out there and what they are looking for then t is time to develop in SEO strategy that will help the business get all the traffic that they want or need. Of course, this should be based around their findings in their research or their shotgun approach to SEO.
In fact, I would endeavor to say that the best keyword research comes from the server logs or the analytics logs on the website itself. Therefore, a person will not know what they should be targeting until they actually get traffic from the website. Once they get traffic, they should start to develop their content to point links at that specific content so that it does better than the search engines and generates more traffic. Of course, that traffic should be pushed into a conversion funnel that can be optimized so that the business can make money in the future and in the present.
Once all this research is done then that is the time when a unified SEO strategy can be put into play. Every link should be directed to pages that do well and content should be created around that particular niche that has shown the possibility of growth. This keeps the business focused on what works and keeps them away from things that will not work.
In closing, I always like to say that I do not trust my own hunches. I trust hard cold facts. You should as well. Cold hard facts will give you everything you need to know about the market and what you need to tell them in order to get them to convert or by your product or service. In the end, the best thing for business to do is to listen to its customers and get as much market research as possible and deal with the marketplace as it wants to be dealt with in that moment.
